Mindset
Vibe Engineering, not Vibe Coding
The term “vibe coding” feels off from the perspective of a real programmer. What describes the process more accurately is vibe engineering — there's architecture, judgment, and responsibility behind it.
At first I was skeptical and doubted AI's ability to code. But I kept an open mind — watching AI evolve over time. Until at one point I asked myself: “Why not use this technology?”
Now I work with Claude Code as my AI coding partner. The AI writes the code, optimizes the app, and checks security.
The coding skills I built the hard way over the years aren't a regret — I use them to review, validate, and ensure the AI's output is truly ready to deploy. With AI, I can work far faster and more efficiently than before.
